The repair is completely cured by Glas Weld’s special Ultraviolet light as soon as the job is done. No further cure time is necessary.

Eric the GlasWelder has been doing repairs since 1982. Specializing in Windshield
repair since1995. After attending the Glas-Weld Factory training seminar in 2004, he attained his Master Certification .Since then, GlasWelder has performed approximately over twenty five thousand repairs.

Although Glaswelder uses some of the best equipment, materials, and training
available, there are rare times when a repair fails. If a repaired chip starts to spread, another attempt to end the crack will be offered at the minimum appointment fee. If the failure
results in a cracked windshield and a replacement is needed, a refund of half of one rock chip repair will be given. A receipt for the new windshield will be requested. 

Several reasons may apply; 1.)Their insurance Company prohibits them, or they
don’t use the Glas-Weld System, or they want to sell new windshields (most likely).
It is ABSOLUTELY NOT ILLEGAL!
